Day 1: Annie Bailey's in Lancaster

31 Days of Decks in Central PA

Day 1

Located in downtown Lancaster, Annie Bailey’s Irish Pub & Restaurant offers a tucked-away urban dining option in the heart of the city with seating for just over 100 and a fully stocked bar.

Since officially opening its deck in mid-April, Annie Bailey’s has unveiled a new summer menu and, starting tonight, is featuring a Friday night happy hour party from 5-7 p.m. with live music and special food and drink specials. Tonight, Americana/rock singer-songwriter Corty Byron is the featured musician (he returns for an encore set from 10 p.m.-1 a.m.) and $4 Zim’s vodka drinks are available. Live music is featured outside every Friday and Saturday nights as well when weather permits.

On Saturday, the deck will host an Otter Creek Brewing Co. party starting at 3 p.m. featuring Fresh Slice White IPA, Backseat Berner IPA, Over Easy Session IPA and Wildflower Wheat on tap, as well as a firkin of Backseat Berner. The beers are paired with Vermont-inspired food items cooked on the grill, including Kobe sliders (with Backseat Berner IPA candied bacon and Vermont sharp cheddar) and Fresh Slice IPA-marinated pulled pork sliders with Vermont pepper jack cheese.

Mark your calendars for outside events like Christmas in July and the annual Oyster Fest in September.
