Creepoid brings nu-grunge to HMAC

If you happen to catch the strains of Creepoid playing somewhere, you could be forgiven for thinking that someone hopped in a time machine, ripped an up-and-coming dark alt-grunge band from the ’90s, and transplanted them here. The Philly-based band has a nu-grunge sound that’s heavily influenced by shoegaze, vacillating between earsplitting and quiet, drifting segments.

If you’re up to check them out, they’re playing the HMAC tonight, November 11, at 6 p.m. Fellow Philadelphian outfit Saint Brendan and the Navigators will be supporting them this evening. Tickets are $5.
