There’s a good bit of country twang soon to make its mark on downtown Lancaster. LNP Media Group – formerly Lancaster Newspapers, Inc. and, in the good spirit of transparency, parent company to FLY – announced yesterday that Live on Vine, a live music-led block party, will take place on July 11 at the corner of Queen and Vine streets in Lancaster city.
The event will take over the 100 block of Vine Street between Beaver and Queen streets with two live music stages and food trucks and booze vendors (including The Pressroom Restaurant, St. Boniface Brewing Co., ZIM’s Vodka and more). Gates open at 5 p.m., with music on the Unplugged Stage starting at 5:30 p.m. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the gate.
Live on Vine will be headlined by country singer-songwriter Sara Evans, with support from Ruthie Collins, Bird Watcher (music project by WXPN’s Sleepy Hollow host Julian Booker) and Maggie Rose. Additional acts are still yet to be named. Watch previews for the lineup below, and follow the event website for updates and tickets.
