Chappelle's Shows: Dave Chappelle's comeback tour includes stops in Central PA

Dave Chappelle, the superstar stand-up comedian, who walked away from the pop-culture spotlight after ending the cultural phenomenon known as Chappelle’s Show –  which ran on Comedy Central from 2003-2006 – announced two Central PA stand-up dates during his comeback tour.

Chappelle’s tour makes stops at the Santander Performing Arts Center in Reading on October 6 and the Hershey Theatre on October 7. Tickets go on sale on Monday, August 17 at 10 a.m.

Chappelle’s new material shows the comedian offering his offbeat and astute brand of stand-up with hilarious sharp social commentary on race relations, politics and family life.

Quick side note: If you were one of those frat-guy types that I went to college with that thought you were hilarious ever time you screamed, “I’m Rick James, bitch!” I’m really hoping you’re over that by now. It seems Chappelle is, too.

Check out this video from his 2004 stand-up set, For What It’s Worth, where he talks about a trip to Disney World. If you’re at work, you may want to put on your headphones.

So what are your favorite Dave Chappelle comedy bits?
