Catch a screening of 'Purple Rain' tonight in Lititz

Impossibly, we’ve made it a whole week without Prince. Tributes continue to flow in various forms, from the offerings at Prince’s Paisley Park home to D’Angelo’s heartbreaking cover of “Sometimes It Snows In April” on “The Tonight Show.”

It was announced last weekend that select AMC theaters would be showing the visual pinnacle of Prince’s career “Purple Rain,” but only in larger metropolitan areas. Thankfully, the fine folks at Penn Cinema in Lititz were crying purple tears as well, and scheduled a screening of the classic 1984 film for tonight at 7 p.m. Tickets are $11.50 for adults and $8.50 for seniors, so no need to purify yourself in the waters of Lake Minnetonka for admittance.

To buy tickets, check out Penn Cinema’s Fandango page for more information here.
