Bruce Springsteen announces Born to Run autobiography

Just ahead of an appearance in Philadelphia, The Boss announced his long-awaited autobiography. In the area for a leg of his¬†anniversary tour for the landmark “The River” album, Bruce announced that the book, the obviously-titled Born to Run, will be out in late September.

According to a press release, the book has been in the works since Springsteen’s performance at the Super Bowl in 2009, and will describe “why the song ‘Born to Run’ reveals more than we previously realized.”

After a long and decorated career, the memoirs will more than likely appear in the form of Bob Dylan’s Chronicles: Volume One and jump around to different eras. Or it will be longer than most Game of Thrones books. Either way, we’re in for something special.
