York food, beer and wine event company takes it step by step to showcase the right stuff from new Pennsylvania breweries.

Fresh on the heels of their newly expanded Hibrewnation winter beer festival series, event producers Crocodile Dog Marketing announced today a new event called Brew Kids on the Block – a re-launch of the Unreasonably Large Beer Garden which ran in conjunction with the company’s signature event, Taste of PA Wine and Music Festival. The concept has changed from a straight-ahead beer garden to one that will feature strictly Pennsylvania breweries that have been operating for five years or less – hence, Brew Kids on the Block.

“We want to highlight the new guys out there,” states a post on the event’s Facebook page. “The bigger guys have reps and marketing and momentum to take on the even bigger guys, But our local heroes have us, the people who are always willing to take a chance on a new beer. So we can be their champion.”

Each brewery will have four selections available at the event, which is scheduled to take place directly after the Taste of PA Wine and Music Festival on Saturday, May 16 from 6-9 p.m. Space is limited to 700 people, so don’t wait to get your tickets.
