Blade Runner takes the screen at Midtown Cinema

For Third in the Burg tonight, November 20, Midtown Cinema is showing something a little different and a lot awesome – “Blade Runner: The Final Cut,” the definitive version of Ridley Scott’s 1982 masterpiece (says word of God himself). Brief rundown: in the dystopian world of 2019, there are psuedohumans called “replicants” that have a built-in lifespan of four years. One Rick Deckard – a blade runner, or replicant hunter – must hunt a particular band of these rogue androids down. Considering the fact that there’s a sequel starring Ryan Gosling in the works, now is a perfect time to rewatch the old classic.

“Blade Runner: The Final Cut” is showing tonight, November 20, at 9:30 p.m. Tickets are $3.
