Craft "Beer Camp" features Central PA Brews

While the days of shooting bow and arrow and kayaking at summer camp may be long behind us, the folks at Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. have found a brilliant way to keep the summer camp vibe alive even for us adults. It’s called Beer Camp.

Tomorrow, 77 breweries from across the Mid-Atlantic region will descend upon Penn Treaty Park in Philadelphia for the penultimate stop on Sierra Nevada’s seven-day, cross-country craft brewing festival. We’re proud to report that Central PA will have a strong showing at the event – Lancaster Brewing Co. (Lancaster), Liquid Hero Brewery (York), Old Forge Brewing Co. (Danville), Roy-Pitz Brewing Company (Chambersburg), South County Brewing Co. (Fawn Grove), Spring House Brewing Co. (Conestoga), St. Boniface Craft Brewing Co. (Ephrata) and Tröegs Brewing Company (Hershey) will all be on site pouring samples and spreading the good word about the region’s craft brewing scene.

The event features live music from the March Fourth Marching Band.

Beer Camp runs from 12-5 p.m. Tickets are $65, or $30 for designated drivers. Click here for ticket info.

Watch the Beer Camp trailer (because they actually have a trailer, which is awesome)
