If you want to feel like you're on vacation south of the border, visit El Serrano Bar and Grill on an evening when Dante is performing. Dante, who is from Vera Cruz, Mexico, plays the guitar and sings, performing songs in both English and Spanish, covering standards as well as his own originals.

In addition to performing at the Lancaster restaurant, Dante has entertained at the El Serrano restaurant in York for three years, as well as at other Mexican restaurants in the Camp Hill area. Wherever he performs, he says he always tries to create a certain ambiance. "The purpose of my music is to provide a refreshing yet cozy atmosphere for the people at the restaurant," he says. "I want to give a sense or feeling of Latin America, of Spain. I want to create a feeling of being outside the U.S."
