Amazon to offer month-to-month streaming service

Bummed out about your Netflix subscription going up? Bum no more! Amazon will now offer a month-to-month subscription to Amazon Video at $8.99 a month.

The news comes just after Netlix┬ásprung some brand new information on their grandfathered customers – they’ll now be charged $9.99 a month, as opposed to the original $7.99.

Now, instead of Amazon Prime customer’s having exclusive access to the streaming end of the deal, those who are interested will be able to pay $1 less than Netflix, and $1 more than Hulu. However, as those who have all three services may already know, the availability of certain titles and quantities will vary between services.

In any case, we’re excited to watch the Hunger Games of streaming services commence.
