Three picks for what to do in Central PA on Monday, May 25
1) Last call for Harrisburg Artsfest (Harrisburg)
Immerse yourself in the arts during the final day of the annual Harrisburg Artsfest. A huge variety of artisans and crafts makers display their wares as the sounds of live music and the smells of local food vendors fill the air. Artsfest spans the Susquehanna River waterfront from Market to Forrster streets. Check out Paul Bratcher & Homegrown at the Central Pennsylvania Friends of Jazz Tent at Front and Walnut Street as they close out the festival from 3:45-5 p.m.
2) York Revolution vs. Somerset Patriots at Santander Stadium (York)
What’s more American than baseball on Memorial Day? Celebrate Memorial Day with a special Salute to Veterans and barbecue picnic at Santander Stadium as the York Revolution close out their four-game series with the Liberty Division leading Somerset Patriots at 5 p.m. Cheer on the Revs, soak up some sun, sip on a beer, enjoy some barbecue and salute the veterans. Get tickets here.
3) Grab a Picnic Burger at Iron Hill (Lancaster)
We know you’re a master behind the grill. You don’t need to prove anything to us. Why not let someone else make your burger this Memorial Day? Iron Hill’s 31 Burgers of the Month is drawing to a close just as the month of May is ending. Coincidence? Today’s burger is the Picnic Burger – bacon, American cheese, pickles, lettuce, tomato, special sauce and a side of potato salad. Wash it down with some Iron Hill beer. And that’s another successful Memorial Day picnic!
Want more? You don’t have to wait til 3 p.m. to check out FLY’s live music, bar entertainment and performing arts calendars.
