There is no better time to get over to Marietta. The Marietta Blues Festival and Pub Crawl – Marietta’s biggest party of the year – takes place from 3-9 p.m. on Oct. 8.
Music historians and ethnomusicologists alike generally agree that the Mississippi Delta is the birthplace of the blues, but what about the Susquehanna River? There is no cover for the crawl and bars will be offering specials on beers from sponsors Sixpoint Brewery, New Belgium, Deschutes Brewery, Ithaca Beer Co., Yards Brewing Company and Starr Hill Brewery.
